Lost Weekend

They say revenge is sweet.  It is if the person or team is on the good end of it.  Unfortunately, the Indians were on the bad end of it this weekend and it was anything but sweet for the Tribe.

Now, before anyone loses their mind over what happened this past weekend, let me assure Tribe Nation that this three game series is a blip on the radar and it will not define the 2017 season.

Truth be told, the Indians didn't deserve to win any of these games.  When a team goes 1-23 (.043 batting average) with runners in scoring position in a three game series, that team doesn't deserve to win.  When the top third of the batting order goes 6-36 (.167 batting average) in a three game series, that team doesn't deserve to win.

Clearly, the Tribe has more than a few players not hitting.  However, this won't last much longer.  This team is way too talented to continue struggling at the plate.

If there is one problem the Indians have, it's a lack of production in the starting rotation.  Look for the team to make a major trade before July 31st to address this issue.
