No sooner did Antonio Brown get his helmet situation under control than he flipped his proverbial lid.
This after AB got into it with his GM.
And I mean into it.
And by that, I mean Brown reportedly threatened to punch Raiders GM Mike Mayock in the faceafter the two got into a heated exchange on Wednesday and the team is now planning to suspend its star wide receiver.
The length of the suspension was not immediately known, as the Raiders are still weighing their options, sources tell Schefter.
But what I do know is some people within the Raiders want it to be permanent and have the team move on from the helmet case—I mean head case—that is Brown.
So much so that, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, and sources around the league believe that the team could suspend him with the idea of trying to void the $30.125-million guaranteed in his contract.
The confrontation, according to Schefter, stemmed from Brown's Instagram post Wednesday when he displayed a letter from Mayock that detailed about $54,000 in fines for missing time during training camp.
Brown was listed as a non-participant for Thursday's practice.
Wonder if he’ll get fined for that.
