Survey: Some Americans Avoiding Corona Beer Amid Coronavirus Spread

A new survey suggests some Americans aren't drinking Coronas due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The survey, conducted by 5W Public Relations, says 38-percent of beer drinkers in the U.S. are actively avoiding Corona beers.

There is no link between the virus and the alcohol other than sharing a name. 5W's founder says despite this, the product's branding is seriously suffering, arguing that no one wants to walk into a bar and say "Can I have a Corona."

Other findings in the survey did show a small amount of regular Corona beer consumers will not order the drink in public.
