Second Half Heroics Lift Buckeyes Past Illinois In Last Home Game Of Season

The Ohio State Buckeyes shook off a lackluster first-half performance to storm back for a 71-63 victory over Illinois at Value City Arena.

With the win, the Buckeyes gave senior players Andre Wesson and Danny Hummer a W in their last college game in Columbus.

Kaleb Wesson led the Buckeyes with 19-points while two-time Mr. Basketball in Illinois, E.J. Liddell, scored 17-points against his home state's top college team.

Ohio State will now wrap up the regular season on Sunday afternoon when they head up north to play Michigan State.
