Foul Trouble Sinks Buckeyes As They Close Out Regular Season With Road Loss

The Ohio State Buckeyes committed too many fouls as a second-half rally fizzled out during an 80-69 loss to the Michigan State Spartans.

Tied at 44 apiece with 13-minutes left in the game, the Spartans got hot and fed off a Senior Day home crowd to pull away from the short-handed Buckeyes who had several players in foul trouble.

Duane Washington Junior led Ohio State with 16-points while E.J. Liddell continued a strong finish to his freshman campaign with 12-points.

The Buckeyes have earned the number seven seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will take on number ten Purdue on Thursday.
